Gimmal SAP Action Packs for Nintex Workflow Provide Rapid Automation for SAP Processes in SharePoint

Gimmal SAP Action Packs Pre-Package SAP Document and Workflow Actions for Nintex Workflows

Houston, TX – May 4, 2015 – Gimmal, a leading provider of SharePoint lifecycle management and SAP interoperability, is excited to announce the availability of Gimmal SAP Action Packs for Nintex Workflow. Gimmal SAP Action Packs for Nintex Workflow are designed to implement SAP document, workflow and data actions for Nintex Workflows.

Gimmal and Nintex have collaborated to provide customers with Gimmal SAP Action Packs for Nintex: ready-to-use SAP document, workflow and data actions that will greatly simplify the process for building an SAP connected SharePoint workflow. Gimmal and Nintex customers and partners can now quickly build rich workflows that link documents to SAP transactions, synchronize data between SAP and Nintex workflows and initiate SAP workflows. With the Gimmal SAP Action Pack for Nintex, a Nintex workflow in SharePoint will be able to:

  • Perform SAP early and late archiving functions, that link documents in SharePoint with specific SAP transactions
  • Create SAP transactions from a SharePoint workflow, such as a sales document, invoice record and attach SharePoint documents to the transaction
  • Initiate SAP workflows from a Nintex workflow and connect SharePoint documents or metadata to the work item allowing users outside SAP to participate in a unified business process
  • Provide SAP data integration to Nintex workflows for data validation required to maintain data integrity
