Conference Session

Governing Content in Office 365

Date: Wednesday, May 22nd

Time: 8:30 am - 9:30 am

During the past year Microsoft has added large amounts of data governance functionality to Office 365. Organizations need to understand these capabilities if they want to ensure their content remains protected, managed, and findable.

In this session, Gimmal CTO Chris Caplinger will explore ways to use these capabilities to govern content in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange, as well as what happens when you need to govern data outside of Office 365. We’ll explore classification, data loss prevention, data governance and more during our presentation. Attend to learn how new governance features in Office 365 can help you:

  • Protect sensitive content with encryption, markings, and more
  • Manage content from an import, archiving, retention, and disposition perspective
  • Find content inside and outside of Office 365 for everyday tasks, GDPR requests, and eDiscovery
